Holt Renfrew Print & Digital
At the end of October 2018 I was contracted by Holt Renfrew for six weeks to help offset their holiday workload. Not only did I have to follow Holt’s style guide, but I had to consider the multiple fashion and beauty brand’s rules when working on a vast array of print and digital projects.
Holt Renfrew holds events across Canada at many of their locations that require in-store posters, as well as digital collateral. I was responsible for the creative surrounding many of these events.
Digital graphics consisted of emails, banners, assets for the Holt’s website, and social platforms.
Sometimes an editorial piece was also included on their website to compliment an event. I worked with their developers to create layouts for both desktop and mobile.
Holt Renfrew’s Holiday Guide was another area of focus during my time there. I was responsible for laying out magazine ads, posters, and all the digital content one can handle in preparation for its launch. I’m not going to lie, I had to look at the same models, in the same poses, for a month. It may look like a lot of repetition, which it is, but I had to resize, crop and photo-retouch my way through everything from banners to Dundas Square billboards. Don’t worry, though, I only included a select few (winky face).
